Exploration & Combat
Exploration and combat take place in the same models.
Time model
Round based, character-centric single-command with intentions phase, ordered resolution via speed.
Attacking is just another action like moving, picking up an item, pushing a button, etc. I’m fairly certain that the speed statistic is used to determine order of attacks but it may be used to order all actions. (NPCs can attack, move, and even pick up items and wield them)
Space model
Connected graph of rooms with north, south, east, west, up and down exits. There is no modeling of space within a room.
Space tactics are none. If you’re in the same room as the target, you can attack them.
